No one messes with the Thieves’ Guild. Except someone just did. After crash landing on a planet with no memory of his last assignment, guild operative Zach Hilyer discovers that his handler is dead and someone’s put a price on his head.
The problem is, he can’t remember when it all went wrong. Injured and alone, Hil has no choice but to go rogue from the guild, fight to clear his name and wreak revenge on the people who set him up.

Description

“Fast paced and a real page turner. This is the kind of book I love to read. Full of excitement and pace. You genuinely feel for the characters and when certain characters get hurt or do something you weren’t expecting, you can’t help but carry on reading to find out what happens next. I can’t wait to start book 2.”

“This book rocks! I loved the way the story’s universe starts out lived in and established. Fantastic sci-fi with tons of action. I can’t wait to continue the series.”

“There is a great depth to the Thieves’ Guild universe that grows with the series… You know there is more going on behind the scenes… feels like a whole universe the way good sci-fi should… the main plot moves along with a fast and frantic pace that pulls you along and makes the books hard to put down.”

“Great new read. This got me back into sci-fi again. Great book, well written and had me hooked. It’s kind of an interstellar whodunit and I still don’t know – what the dickens is in the package??!! I like the characters and their little idiosyncrasies and I love Skye, you can’t beat an AI and here they are recognised as being sentient and have rights, way to go! I have book 2 ready and waiting on my kindle now and I am sure the adventure will just keep going, perhaps poor old Hil won’t get quite as beat up in the next instalment!”

“Highly addictive and imaginative story and characters, in my opinion among the best sci-fi novels I have ever read. As soon as I finished book 1, I immediately bought book 2 and 3 now I can’t wait for book 4.”

“Bought this 1st book after a recommendation from a friend. I have read many sci-fi books over the years, all the greats and I can say without a doubt that I love this author. I love the way she writes, her characterisation and her imagination. Already bought book 2 and eagerly awaiting book 3!”

“I could not put this book down. It was intriguing from the beginning and the setting was unusual as well as captivating. I loved that the main character was a bit of a bad boy and that he was trying to recover from something that may not have been entirely legal… but he can’t remember. There are so many twists and turns as well as a lot of surprises that makes this a definite must read. I love the writing style, too. Quick descriptions, great dialogue as well as wonderful story lines. I didn’t have any trouble following the pathways set by the author and loved the way tension was built up. I also liked the brief intermissions throughout to discuss strategy and keep us abreast of the developments from management. Great book.”
